Advantages of natural gas

There's no prices catel like there is for oil. Today the oil prices are being kept high because of the agreements in the OPEC association oil producing countries.

Availability

It's easy to find. There's many unused natural gas resources available, around the globe.

disadvantages of natural gas

Explosion danger

Natural gas is not a very stable source of energy. And not very safe, it may very well blow up or burn. It's very hard to secure the gas distribution chain from terrorists.

Transportation

It's relatively expensive to transport large amounts of natural gas.

How can we overcome any disadvantages

Transportation

You can ease the transport by containing the gas under high pressure or low temperature, where it will be liquid (LNG). But it very expensive to lower the temperature or raise the pressure.
